About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world!!!!!!

ABOUT ME

I’m an outgoing, witty guy with a unique sense of style, a hint of sarcasm, and a passion for trying new things. People have described me as sensitive, caring, and confident in the way I carry myself. I’m the kind of person people come to for advice and comfort. That’s probably because I’m nonjudgmental and very accepting of people’s differences and opinions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people that I can engage with and take away something learned, thoughtful or insightful.

Interests

My great passion in life is traveling around the world and meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. I backpack, scuba dive, mountain bike, camp, workout, run, hike, explore, read and visit museums. I’m the kind of guy that feels as comfortable camping in the Mountains as I do wearing a suit to a dinner party.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The 2000 Sydney Olympics were amazing. The whole city was electrified and welcoming. I remember when I was in the middle of Martin Place in the downtown area. It's a closed off street that had giant 100 foot screens broadcasting the Olympics live. An Aussie had won the gold medal and they were getting ready give her a medal when the crown of 300 to 440 people fell silent. As soon as the national anthem started playing they all started singing and then erupted into huge applause when it was over. People were shaking hands, kissing and hugging each other. :) It was great to see so many people coming to together in the community and celebrating not just the Olympic victory, but each other. There are many places I have traveled and I can say I have been awestruck by many things. It's much more meaningful to talk about them in person, because my writing skills just wont' do them justice.
