About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Savouring the moment

ABOUT ME

I am curious and like to learn/try new things. I am also an adventurous person and travel to different countries by myself. I get along with anyone and I like having long conversations with people.

PHILOSOPHY

Always try something at least once!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted several travelers in the summer 2013 when I had a free room in my apartment. I also participated in several Couchsurfing meetups in my home city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Japan and in Chile and had a great experience. Japanese apartments are extremely small, but it doesn't matter when the hosts are so nice!

Interests

I like Politics, History and Science. I am a home-brewer so I like make my beer at home and love to taste different beers from around the world. I spend my time by reading about current events, brewing beer and reading on the subject, playing video games and playing with my cat. I love traveling when I have the time/money and love meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! I used to be a metal-head, but now I enjoy many other genres like electronic music, blues, jazz, hip-hop, etc. I am always discovering new things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking for 10 days in the French/Italian Alps, the views of the mountains were quite simply amazing.
Hiking across volcano craters in Hawaii and watching the sunset over the clouds on a volcano.
Walking in Tokyo at night, the busiest nightlife I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

On Mondays a lot of museums and attractions are closed. Try to check in advance if where you are going is open so you don't waste a day like I did many times!

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Cuba, France, Italy, Japan, Netherlands Antilles, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
