About Me

I don’t feel down on a Sunday evening
I used to have a cat named Bob
I drink too much coffee
I realize it’s a cliché to talk about coffee
I like cooking
I have a hard time sitting still
I try to read more
I like obscure music
I like having animated discussions on profound topics
I don’t mind sounding snobish

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love my city and I love meeting new people, so hey - it’s easy really.

Looking to meet up and maybe host interesting people dropping by, and would be thankful of staying someplace myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw Michelle Obama speak at a conference in Boston.
Lived for a month in Tokyo where I followed a hardcore Japanese language course. Followed up with a trip round Japan.
Literally ran up the Masada in Israel, managed to still gaze at the dead sea without having a heart attack.
Recovered by learning how to surf on the beaches of Tel Aviv.
Conquered the bitter cold of winter Saint Petersburg and Moscow.
Hiked through the Atlas mountains in Morocco and climbed North Africa's highest mountain.

Never learned how to count to one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some Japanese that I can share with you, or if you happen to know Japanese as well, I'm always up for some 日本語のおしゃべり
I know a thing or two about marketing strategy and agency life
I know about Belgian beers
I know music you don’t know, but might like

What I Can Share with Hosts

My extensive Spotify playlists. Spontaneous and outgoing conversation. The most ridiculous trivia. Hopefully a beer.
