About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I think I was a pretty happy guy growing up and have kept that way for the most part. My mission is to treat ever day like an adventure, and enjoy every moment I’ve got.

ABOUT ME

I grew up spending half the year on the Oregon coast and the other half on the north shore of Kauai. Moving twice a year makes travel feel natural and like home. Having grown up on Kauai, I love being near the sea, and hope to learn to sail someday.

They say you are what you eat, but I think you’re more who you surround yourself with. I try to surround myself with people that are living their best lives.

PHILOSOPHY

Why so serious? Enjoy the dance before it’s over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I’m on couch surfing to meet new people from across the world, and to show them some Oregon/Hawaii hospitality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All have been great! Plenty of generosity, and tons of good times with people from all across the world.

Interests

I like travelling (in case the site didn’t give it away). Train in martial arts when I have the opportunity.

I love food, and good meals. I'm thinking about my next meal right now!

Bike trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bicycle from Moscow, Russia to Athens, Greece (speakingofspokes.wordpress.com) and didn't die!

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned a lot from my bike trip across Europe, and can offer you some ideas if you’re looking at doing a bike trip too.

I taught English as a foreign language as well. I'd be happy to help you with English if you're into that.

I worked in my universities' bike shop for two years. I can help answer most question and fix most bikes if you have some problems.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking you a meal would be a pleasure for me.
