ABOUT ME

I live in San Francisco where I work making documentaries and other types of media. I love movies, books, music, making friends, whiskey, and much more. I'm a nice, laid back guy just looking for a place to crash for a night or two. I'll tell you more when you meet me!

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life? I don't think I have much of a choice. I'm here so might as well make the most of it. I hope to use my time here though to make some sort of impact. I want to create- whether it be film or writing or whatever- and I want to leave the world a better place than when I arrived. It can be difficult sometimes though, eh?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've gotten to take advantage of couchsurfing during my travels and have tried to repay the favor when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been really lucky through my experiences and contacts to find places to stay, often with complete strangers who have opened their doors and lives to let me in and make me feel comfortable. I try to do the same when I can. I've slept on a lot of couches (and floors) everywhere from New York to Damascus.

Interessi

Film, books, music, politics, foreign affairs, travel, a whiskey with two ice cubes in a short glass, and rivers. Plus much more.

Musica, film e libri

Movies- My all-time favorite is Taxi Driver. But I have a very wide taste. I'll just name a few: Apocalypse Now, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Clerks, Can't Hardly Wait (oh yeah, its awesome), 3.14 (I can't find the "pi" key), etc.

Music- Mostly punk rock, hiphop, but anything that's good is good.

Books- mostly nonfiction, current affairs. I'm a junkie for that stuff, especially when focused on the Middle East.
