About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See everything, and never regret if it makes you happy.
ABOUT ME
I am a student living in Dorset who has nearly finished a levels. I am currently planning my gap year, as I believe you cannot truly say you have lived until you have travelled the world! I am admittedy a little naive on travelling so far but I hope that will fade with time (and experience!).
I live with my boyfriend of nearly two years in Blandford Forum and most of my friends live nearby in Dorchester and the surrounding areas. I love my friends and I do not know what I would do without them. Friendship means the world to me, they create the best memories, good and bad, and I never regret any moment with any of them.
I hope to approach university with a new outlook on life, with a fresh start and an infinite amount of memories to propel me forward with inspiration.
I have always been willing to try new things, and cannot wait to 'suffer' the culture shock my dad is always warning me about. I would love to come back to England with many new ways on approaching life's never ending problems!
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone has ups and downs but if it makes you happy, so what if you might 'regret' it...without experience and memories, you will never grow. (:
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to have CS experience but I have friends who have had much experience and I cannot wait to share these memories with them when my gap year starts.
Interests
Like most teenagers I love the typical life of relaxing with friends, parties, festivals, beaches, camps and random long walks. Yet I pretty much have fun doing anything as long as the people around me are positive and happy...I feed off the energy of others!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have many favourite books, ranging from gonzo journalism (Hunter S Thompson and Tom Wolfe) to gothic literature (Perfume by Patrick Suskind and Sarah Water's The Little Stranger). I also enjoy Jodi Picoult's novels, Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things, and Stephani Meyer's lesser known The Host (compared to her 'amazing' Twilight novels...)
My love nearly all music; whether it is Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, 30 seconds to Mars or dubsep/drum and bass, I will listen to almost everything (except hardcore...I really do not think the cheesy bass line and vague one-liners count as good dance music...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have helped plan, prepare, raise money for and run a youth festival for the teenagers and children in West Dorset who we wanted to help get off the streets. The day was a total success, with many types of music, activites, stalls and plenty of media coverage. This year is our third year running of the free festival and I hope to continue helping those in my area.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have little teaching knowledge...but I do have one camping titbit...newspapers on floor of your tent keep the heat in. And yes, it works!
