I am Davina and my husband is Joel. We are Americans currently living in Pozzuoli, Italy thanks to my husband's work as a musician. Our twins Antonio and Hannah are two years old. We are new to couch surfing but are friendly, open minded people who love new cultures and new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing seems to be the ideal way to meet other friendly, open minded people as we travel and enjoy our lives while in Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My husband and I are both musicians, so we have a wide range of musical tastes. If I had to narrow it down, he prefers jazz fusion and I prefer classical or romantic era orchestral and operatic music. But when I'm driving around town, top 40 and classic rock is fine with me. We love watching all kinds of films together-horror, documentary, sci-fi, rom-com, animated.... A few of our all time family favourites include Star Wars, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life & Life of Brian, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Lorax, Toy Story, and Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. Since the twins were born my only regret is losing the time I used to have to sit and read books! I have always loved historical fiction novels, but lately I find the only thing I have time to read is parenting blogs and Facebook feeds.

I grew two tiny humans inside of me at the same time. ;^)

Teach, Learn, Share

We have taught our guests how to make and eat Chicago style pizza, which is so different from any other type of pizza. We are musicians, so we can always make and share music together. I also work as a massage therapist and would be happy to share my talents with my weary travellers. We love food and wine, so any opportunity to share knowledge about culinary arts is relished!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share great conversation, delicious meals and recipes, laugh and have fun with my little twins and I promise we will clean up after ourselves!
