About Me

--------------------- Fully Vaccinated (5 doses) ---------------------
Hello u all.
My name is David, I’m brazilian and I'm 27 years old. I'm from "Bahia": a state of Brazil that people are really lovelly, we love to talk, to have fun, to dance and to do as many friends as possible. Whenever I can I travel around the world, I’ve already made a backpacking in South America just 2 weeks after having a surgery (I had cancer), so I learned that life is short and every minute is valuable. It was an awesome experience where I could prove myself that I'm stronger than I was thinking and I don't need too much things to live (just a bed and good friends to share life). Also, I lived in Africa doing volunteer works, I loved that experience! especially Egypt where I worked with women who had breast cancer and those months changed my life.
I love to talk about culture and to meet new people, I'm very kind, talkative and I really like to help while I'm hosting in someone place.
My dream it's to be a global citizen and try to look at the world beyond my bubble here in Brazil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that it's all about the people, isn't it? Because of my work, I can't travel a lot, so hosting people in my house is a way to travel without leaving the couch. To me places are just places, I really like to visit famous places, but to me travel it's about the people that you find on the way. So, CS is a big opportunity to meet new people. Also I will be very glad to participate in any household task or activity at my hosts: cook, wash dishes, clean, take care of children, do a bit of gardening... Don't hesitate to ask me for help, I find it quite normal!
