Went to college in Virginia, then grad school in Spain. Taught English at a Spanish University on the side. Worked in marketing for a global company in Paris. Sales & fashion from India. Tech in SF to tech in DC.

Very open-minded and liberal. I don't take life or myself too seriously.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem and Pura Vida- life is too short to worry

Good connections are about people, not social networks.
Give away your best work for free.
If you see someone who needs help, stop asking yourself if they need help. Instead, just help.
Don’t buy a lot of stuff, and only buy the stuff you really love.
Be humble and curious.
Find things that inspire you and pursue them, even if there’s no money in it.
Learn something from everyone.
Fight for what matters.
Going into the unknown is how you expand what is known.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people through couchsurfing (it used to be my favorite thing) I used to host whenever I can and it is so fulfilling to host. My trips are always way better when I couchsurf- the people I have met have had a profound impact on my life.

Please note that I have been with couchsurfing since the beginning. For me, it was about connecting with awesome people. When a request to stay with me feels transactional - like someone just needs a free place to stay and doesn't attempt to tell me why they want to stay with me- I will deny the request.
