About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Decide what "I want to be when I grow up," but not get too stressed about it. It believe everything's going to work out, so I'm going to enjoy the journey.
ABOUT ME
I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, U.S.A. I'm about to start my senior year and unsure about life after graduation.
I enjoy conversation-- not small talk. I try to be a positive person and enjoy being around positive people; it's amazing what you can accomplish when you actually believe you can accomplish something. I believe that I can make a difference in this world. It's very difficult to get me to give up on something or someone. Even unsolvable problems teach you valuable lessons, and people deserve second chances.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the little things in life-- the late night conversation with friends, the stars in the countryside, and the smell just before it rains.
Live with motion and purpose. If you get lost, don't worry; you'll find the light at the end of the tunnel when you least expect it.
It's not always what you do, but how you do it. Treat others with decency in all situations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just started couchsurfing. When ever I talk to someone who is interested in traveling, I tell them about the project. I hope to host some surfers when I get back home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed once, but I loved it. I was amazed that my host could speak five languages, and she was younger than I. Great experience, and I hope I will have many more.
Interests
I love to travel. You meet new people, learn about other languages, and make friends that you will have the rest of your life. It's not always about the destination but about the experience you have along the way.
When I can't travel or I'm not hanging out with friends back home, I read. Not any genre in particular, however, I prefer books with some depth. You know the ones that express the thought that you could never quite put into words or remind you that you can make a difference in a sometimes bleak world.
