About Me

ABOUT ME

Check out my instagram photos: davo_dw

I work as a Business Development Manager for a Bank so my schedule changes from week to week as I often have to travel interstate.

To offset my professional career, I maintain a healthy and active social life.
I was put on this planet to talk and love meeting new people. Even though it may be inappropriate at times, I have a good sense of humour and am probably too easy going at times.

PHILOSOPHY

You will often hear me say 'no worries'. I am a very laid back guy who is very easy going. I have an inappropriate sense of humour but it is all in good fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host whenever I can but also catch up with people who are travelling through Sydney and want to hang around with one of the locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting as of 7th July 2013 and have had several great experiences with the people that have stayed with me. There are some fantastic memories and I have made some really good friends.

Interests

I work full time in banking but in my downtime, I love to chill out and relax. I often go running but am just as happy eating a Big Mac or catching up with friends over drinks.
Amateur photographer at heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Estonia to be united for the first time with my Mother's side of the family. My grandfather never returned to Estonia after he moved to Australia so it was an amazing experience to reconnect with my ancestral past and relatives and then celebrate around a bonfire, in the middle of a field during Mid-Summer Festival.

In Paris, going to Sainte-Chapelle Chapel to watch a string quintet perform the music of Strauss in such an amazing setting was breath taking.

During mid-Summer in Stockholm, I walked the city all night long and took some amazing photos of the spectacular architecture in twilight which gave it a magical appearance.

Diving with Whale Sharks in the Philippines.

Attending Islamic Prayer in Brunei.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best lessons are the ones that we learn in our day to day lives. I will share and immerse you in my day to day life and hopefully you will get a better understanding of day to day life in Australia as well as being able to reflect and grow in your own life.
