ABOUT ME

I like to talk to strangers (or new friends) everywhere; on the train, in a pub, at uni. I just love to meet people and have a laugh :)

I love music. I find that playing my guitar and singing is probably the best way for me to vent my frustrations or reflect something beautiful. Seeing live bands and musicians always inspires me and I think that music is something so diverse, I am always hoping to discover more of it!

I study sport, outdoor recreation and education because I love being active and outdoors. Hiking, surfing and spending time in the wilderness is something I hold very close to my heart! It allows me to forget about all the distractions of my busy busy life and just exist. That is so freeing and rejuvenating.

PHILOSOPHY

If there is water, I will swim in it. Unless it is in a glass.

I have couchsurfing tattoed all over my body. I also win arm wrestling contests all over the world and say that CS is my inspiration. True story

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living below the poverty line (2 dollars a day) for 40 days with my brother last year really showed me just how much I take for granted in my life (like food) and how much 'stuff' can complicate life unnecessarily. That was an amazing experience. I was actually hungry for real (not the hunger between lunch and dinner) and that was new for me We made chips out of potato peelings and they were super tasty!!!

I learnt to click my fingers about 2 years ago. I can't whistle though. I also wrote a kids song for my 6 year guitar students titled:'flippy flippy fish fish'. We can rock out to that.
