I'm 22, a recent grad and young professional, looking to explore the States and learn more about myself and others. I've only really been to some parts of the north eastern states and want to see what else is out there.

I recently left my job at a digital advertising agency to find something more fulfilling. I plan on traveling a few months, and freelancing a little for some income.

I've always entertained the thought of traveling when young, but reading Vagabonding by Rolf Potts was truly inspiring and just prepared me better to take on this journey. Highly recommend the book to anyone interested in long term travel.

I was born in Nepal but moved here to the States in 1st grade. My family is Sherpa, and although Sherpas are famous for being renowned mountaineers, no I've never been near Everest. However, I can share some things about Sherpa culture, which is not too different from Tibetan culture.
I've lived in Brooklyn, NY for most of my youth but now I want to see what else is out there.
