PHILOSOPHY

Travel is not that interesting. People are.

Then there is traveling and the experience of traveling.

"whatever doesn't kill you make you a more interest person." -I do have a few close to death experiences to tell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spread the Gospel of CS. I have successfully converted a few to try it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(MM/DD/YYYY)

07/2012-08/2012 - rode 3200km on a bicycle from beijing to xiamen in china

10/1/2011 - survived a bus crash from san pedro de atacama to santiago in chile with 1 scratch and some bruises.

9/12/2011 - climbed Huayna Potosi, the highest altitude I have reached in my life, 6088 meters (almost 20k feet).

08/2011 - Galapagos islands, 8 days cruise, once in a life time experiences where I snorkeled with a school of dolphins (like 50), different sharks, penguins, many sea lions, fishes, etc.

07/2010 - Tour de Taiwan on a bicycle, 18 days and 1200km.

9/2009 - Hiking in the Pyrenees, being at 2444 meters high between France and Spain.

6/2009 - jumping off a 20 meter high bridge in Marseilles with two of my CS hosts. The sea was violent that evening and almost drained (closest experience to death so far).

08/08/08 - Overnight hiking from around 1 am and finished at 12pm trying to hike the highest peak in New York State after 1 full day of work. Then I managed to drive another 6 hours home and a stop at an outlet to do some shopping before resting.
