I am in a constant need of hitting new places.
Living and working in Warsaw/PL I try to travel as much as time and money allow me to do so.
Plane, bus, train, car, motorbike, autostop, feet (the least accepted option ;) - doesn't matter how, I always find a way to move.
I don't like to spend too much time in one place, I don't like museums, I know nothing about architecture, I don't need to see everything. I prefer to move. This is my definition of travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, it's simple - it's the best way to make the desired trip and fit in the budget.
On the other side, if I have the conditions to get anyone under my roof for free and help such one to make the trip of life - why not to use it?
Since I don't follow the social ascpects of CS, this is the main reason for my existence here - trips that I couldn't afford if had to pay for the accomodation.
I guess I'll outrage all these "CS is not a hotel for free!!" with the above, but basically it's all about this. The other actions, such as hanging out, cooking, sharing interests, etc, they are just additions to free accomodation - however I treat them as an added value and appreciate them much!

UPDATE: Recently, the positive CS experience I had has been tuned down. Significantly. However, I am not going to be as picky as most of the "CSers" here.
But I still hate not answering to requests. Lack of reply shows lack of respect to others - and "no" is also an answer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, many things. I don't have any specialty, yet I have been here and there, I have experienced a lot, so many things "common" for me can be uncommon for others. I can discuss on many topics and petty talks are not my favourite ones ;)

One remark: I am not gay. I am tolerant and open-minded, have almost no prejudices except one thing: if these words are not respected. Actually I am sick of abusive messages here or replies to my requests in the "I can host you, but I want to walk naked in your presence" vein.
However, it doesn't mean I am homophobic - it's absolutely opposite. I treat all people equally and respectfully, unless they are stupid or mean.
