Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we have met new and wonderful people, who have become friends. Couchsurfing is a wonderful tool that enables us to connect with 'like minded' people. I have surfed numerous times and LOVE it...totally SOLD on it...I have hosted numerous times as well. I live on the beautiful south shore of Lake Superior in Wisconsin. If you love the outdoors, our area is the place for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been able to couch surf several times and met wonderful people. Couchsurfing is the way to go...I can't understand why a lot of my friends are skeptics. I have met only wonderful people and been able to go to some wonderful places. Couchsurfing has given me the ability to meet positive energy people and develop friendships.

Interests

fishing, camping, hiking, family activities, volunteering, reading, auctions, travelling (of course)...and lots of adventures!!!! I am also interested into holistic approaches to life...keeping life simple, making greener footprints, and continuing to grow and mature and open to all possibilities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to read almost anything...mostly fiction...love self improvement, also interested in Sufism, yoga, meditation, Reiki and the law of attraction. Like action and family movies. Wayne Dyer, Byron Katie, Tony Robbins are all people I enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were able to host a couch surfers wedding reception. It was the ULTIMATE for couch surfing and I believe it shows the true heart of couch surfing. Every day is amazing for us. You have to appreciate each day, because you have no promises for a tomorrow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to meet new and different people . I love to host and am very involved in community events. If you come up, I am sure we can find plenty to do, either together or if you desire, by yourself.
