Overview
About Me
Hello! I am a traveler at heart and an engineer during the day. I love to explore all kinds of new places and see as much culture in each place as I can. I love meeting new people and making friends who I can travel with and share a beer with. I currently live in Denver, Colorado, USA, and love skiing, hiking, kayaking, camping, and getting lost in the mountains here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing so I can meet all kinds of new people and experience life in different places. I travel light and am super friendly, so staying with locals is very exciting for me. I get to have a peek into what life is truly like in the places that I visit, rather than staying in a hotel where it seems very formal and more like vacation than travel.
Interests
I love food! I live a plant-based lifestyle, so I love finding new and interesting foods and meals in different countries. Food is so important in many traditions and cultures and I love trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost every kind of music. I do not like country music, though. Indie is my favorite. I like funny movies and will always watch a comedy. British humor is my favorite. It is very dry and that makes me laugh the most. I love to learn when I read books, so I own a lot of informative books. Non-fiction and textbooks. I do like to disappear into another world from time to time, though, and tend to look for mystery or fantasy books when I go for a novel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been skydiving! I went with a group of friends in Maryland, USA in my early 20s and it was so much fun! We went in a group of 8 people and we dropped over the Chesapeake River, which was so beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new languages and will try very hard to pronounce things correctly in whatever language I am attempting to speak. If I get it wrong, let me know! I am knowledgable about beer, plants, maths, science, feminism, and travel tips and am happy to share!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love trying new craft beers! I am more than happy to take hosts out for a local pint and teach them about the brewing process, flavors from different styles, and anything they would like to know about the brewing industry. I think this is an excellent way to get to know locals and also to learn something fun while also trying new breweries! I also love to cook and would be happy to prepare dinner for my hosts.
