ABOUT ME

They'd tell you I'm a traveler. I'm creative and love learning and experiencing new things. That I'm crazy because my ideal job would be working in a coffee shop - just give me a view. I'm outgoing, quiet, loud and many things at once. I'm respectful and love to learn. When situations arise, I'm able to remain calm, assess both sides and then react. Or I like to think so, at least.

I'm a nature girl who feels trapped in the midwest, and working on getting out. Currently, to feed that need I try my best to travel - a lot. I'm always looking for the next adventure.

Get out there - and live. There's ups, there's downs.. But you got to keep moving forward - stuff only gets better. Things won't come to you. You've got to get up and make stuff happen. Make new mistakes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have my own place, but would gladly meet up for coffee or a drink and show you my town! I'm from the Wisconsin area, so I know Madison pretty well too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really helps submerse you into a city. Cramming yourself into an over priced hotel shows you nothing. Spending time with people who live there and know the best hole in the wall place to grab some food and beer - that's my idea of a good time.

Interests

Outdoors. SUP, Surfing, nature, snowboarding, hiking, bicycle riding, coffee, beer (micro, good, bad - love it all!), beaches, mountains, oceans, traveling, food, fitness - I'll try anything twice, always seeking new experiences. I try to enjoy running, but I'm not the best. Just being active keeps a smile on my face. I thoroughly enjoy pint glasses, adorable coffee mugs and either sparkly or giant over-sized floral headbands. It's my thing - my signature, if you will.

Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Maroon5, Third Eye Blind. I really do listen to just about everything. Sometimes, I've got to blast some booty grooving music just to dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling - Each time is always better than the last! San Fran, NOLA (Mardi Gras!), Outer Banks, Punta Cana - I met the naked cowboy at Mardi Gras, exchanged words over a bathroom issue with a drag queen in San Fran. My most memorable moment is zip-lining in the Dominican Republic. I was able to rappel down a mountain, zip-line into a waterfall ending with a free-fall into a small body of water..

Teach, Learn, Share

All paths of life. We best teach what we most need to learn. I'm ready to learn from others and offer what I may have. And I love listening to good stories. I may have a few to share myself!
