About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to see and learn as much as possible! yay!
ABOUT ME
I love music and travel, and combining the two is even better! For the past few years I have worked as a guidance counselor to youth in san francisco/bay area. After that I lived in Chile for a bit with a wonderful family and am now planning to go on another trip. Traveling with one of my best friends throughout Europe should be a blast. My favorite thing to do is meet new people, and I look forward to meeting you.
PHILOSOPHY
I guess my personal philosophy is that we are here for each other and can make the world a better place a smile at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am very new to couchsurfing and look forward to meeting lots of great locals this way and hosting people myself once I settle down. for me, my most enjoyable travels have been when I get to speak with people and make new friends. This is why I really want to participate in CS so that I can make lots of new friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Thus far I have only couchsurfed on the couches of friends and family. Many of my friends have come and visited me and stayed with me in the different places I have lived. its always fun to come home to the same place together and make pancakes for the group in the morning.
Interests
reading, music, walking the dogs, enjoying the simple things and looking for more. my favorite activity today was taking my two dogs (awesome border collies) on a long walk and trying to run with them..

Music, Movies, and Books
this summer I am looking forward to going to the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco :) one of my favorite bands Pearl Jam will be playing and I am also looking forward to seeing MIA play again as well as Black Eyed Peas. Last year I got to see Rage Against the Machine and Daft Punk which was super awesome....I know lots of my music is from the US, so I would really like to learn about some other artists. and there are lots more that aren't on the list...the last good book I read was A Fine Balance, its really good, but super intense, movie, well I just saw Green Mile for the first time and it was amazing as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
um, last year I moved in with a Chilean family and had a great time learning about a new culture and experience. When I got there my Spanish wasn't so good, and most of the family only spoke Spanish. By the end I totally felt like I could communicate and understand what was going around me and how to get on was definitely amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
ok, so I could teach someone how to swim, I would love to learn how to surf and share some books or music sounds pretty good to me. and I am a pretty awesome healthy cook, so sharing some meals would be great to.
