This is Dawood. I am an Indian currently doing my Masters in Bonn. I studied in Aachen but got this wonderful opportunity of doing my thesis here in Bonn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some great opportuinites to travel, due to my work and met some amazing people. It's a great feeling when you know some things about other culture. Like the Filipinos always duck, if they are walking between two people talking or the Indonesian word for welcome is basically a reflection of Thank you, but to the person who says thank you :)

Of late, I haven't been able to travel much and a friend recommended couchsurfing to me. Saw the website and I am right now registered!
I want to have this cultural exchange where I can know people of different cultures and get them to know mine. It's an amazing feeling to have friends from different parts of the world :)
