ABOUT ME

I´m a student from Asheville, NC studying music at UNC Chapel Hill. Once I went abroad to london, my life changed in many ways, but the biggest and most exciting was my thirst for traveling. "the backpackers community" as a fellow traveler from Germany once said, "...is where I belong." Since I´ve been in london I´ve traveled all over europe and have been living in Spain for the summer. I love to learn and do things. Adventure is my name, and adventure is my game? Learning and living and loving, and just having a good time are how I like to live. I´m a huge fan of backpacking, mountain biking, juggling, and especially music. I play a few instruments and am always...always up for a jam session. I´m extremely open minded and I come from a town where dreadlocks run as rampant as mountains and waterfalls, and a drum circle is always around the corner. While not neccesarily intentional, I have rejected pretty much anything associated with american pop culture, or american tv culture. I don´t have a tv and don´t ever watch it. I actually think it brainwashes you..but really...all those commercials all the time? I also kind of despise advertising (bill hicks anyone?). I love the idea of CS because I have in fact become infected with the traveller´s bug, and what better way to quench my thirst than by Couch Surfing. I can´t wait to meet everybody!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I am new to couch surfing, I love meeting people and learning about them and telling them about my self and where I´m from, so I would say the way in which I participate is by engaging in these experiences with fellow couchsurfers. Also, when I go home I want to start hosting some fellow couch surfers! it´s an experience I know will never get old.

Interests

biking (road and mountain), hackey sack, juggling fire stuff (pins, devil sticks..), juggling in general, having long conversations, learning stuff; music of all kinds, shapes and colors; dreadlocks, making hemp necklaces,freestyling, underground hip hop, cooking (though i´m learning), running, running up mountain streams..i.e. rock-hopping, being with friends, backbackng...the list goes on and on..
