Ethiopian Ukrainian who grew up in Ghana, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Kenya until I was 18. Since then, I’ve lived in Canada, Norway, England, Spain, and Ukraine. Recently moved to Kyrgyzstan.🏔️

I try to hear, feel, and understand people who enter my life. I value greatly those who try to do so, are open-minded to see other mentalities and provide people space and communication where they are seen as a growing, changing individual with potential rather than a defined story of the past. The couchsurfing community has left an impact on me after having found so many such people here.🌳

I am obsessed with design, (especially architecture and interior design.) 🎨🎬🪘I love to put together different fabrics, draw palaces, build treehouses, design interiors, observe the expression of movement. I love sharing in creative processes, painting, drawing, writing, building beautiful places.

The way a living room is put together, the colors and textures that are prevalent within it, the way the space is distributed, guides the interactions and moments in relationships that take place there. 🛋️ The way a house, cafe, or city is designed promotes and is conducive to certain human expressions whilst hindering others.

The choices of the designer are like suggestions, discouragements, obligations, and limitations for our experiences and expressions of life in that space. ✨

I feel a deep need to return to natural environments often, 🌲 almost as if to recharge. I also (to the contrary in a sense) deeply enjoy the creation and artistry of drawings, pots, clothes, tables, bags, and all sorts of craftsmanship. 🏺

I value eating healthily, 🥗 training, swimming, running, getting out in the sunlight and fresh air, learning new skills, gaining knowledge, and having touching experiences. 🌞

I want to enjoy and share in growth together, experience greater versions of ourselves, and build networks through which good culture and care are spread.

Got caught backpacking, hitchhiking in Andalusia when so-called “quarantine” restrictions began, sleeping on beaches and eating fruit-shop leftovers. Living with my friend outdoors in a broken tent, which we kept moving to hide from police. ⛺

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After being stuck for a few years, finally managed to get out of Ukraine in early 2024 and am travelling once again, looking to make new connections, see new experiences and gain new understandings. 🍇

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn and teach languages 🐈‍⬛, to share in the discovery of new structures of thoughts and expressions, new linguistic frequencies and melodies. I would be happy to share what I can as far as languages are concerned.

As a deeply curious student, I greatly enjoy sharing knowledge as much as gathering it, and this is one of my favorite things to do—to experience the discovery and satiation of curiosity, others' or my own. I would enjoy spending time learning something new together or from each other.

I love to cook 🫕 but often do so rarely as I am very meticulous and can easily spend three to four hours preparing a meal. I love food from around the world but am very confident in my preparation of Indian, Italian, and Russian dishes.
