I've always wanted to travel the world, and the universe has conspired to make this a good "Complete that Bucket List" part of my life. So that's what I'm doing.

My primary interests are interesting people in far away places, spirituality, local food and customs, and ancient civilizations. I'm also a sucker for myths, legends, and fairytales.

I have a Youtube channel called "Dax's Travel Channel" if you want to get a better feel for who and what I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to make traveling easier, plain and simple. I wish I had something more interesting to type here, but I don't. :D

Once my life stabilizes, I'll be more than happy to offer my guest room to fellow couchsurfers. Right now that is not an option. Sorry. :(

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like pretty much all kinds. Hard Rock is my favorite, but I have never heard a genre of music that I didn't like in some way. Someday, I do want to see a full spectacle Opera.

Movie: Not big on movies these days. I enjoy Sci Fi and Superhero stuff. But for the most part movies are something I can either take or leave. That said, I do have an ongoing thing where I want to see every Star Wars flick while they're still in theaters.

Books: Lots of non-fiction books. I like reading Dan Millman, William Mistele, that sort of thing.

I consider myself to have led a fairly mundane life. I've had a few interesting experiences, if that counts.

Not certain what this field is asking of me. I try to learn, everywhere I go. I try to teach, everywhere I go. I try to share, everywhere I go.
