CURRENT MISSION

Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without it.

I am a Humanist. I believe that the good and great things in this life are created by humans.

I am part artist, Humanist, hippie, student, engineer, teacher, businessman, coach, encourager, volunteer and green builder. I'm extremely varied, I am up for just about anything and try and like many things. I'm tolerant and very social.

I'm not religious though I have hosted religious people. So long as you aren't trying to convert me, we'll be fine. I do have a lot to say about religion if you care to discuss it.

I'm into art and have recently done metal work and earthen art projects. My passion is rammed earth, sustainable homes, Earthships, renewable energy, furniture, solar, inventing, art; I like to create. I like to design with metal; glass; wood; timber frames; solar etc.

I like yoga; working out; animals (especially dogs and cats) music; nature, great food & wine, learning and have found that the American pace of life and our culture doesn't suit me: It's my goal to work less and live, love, learn, travel and HELP more. Go to Red Rocks in Denva!

I love music, reading and exercising and do NOT own a TV. Well now I do. My exroommate left one for me which I neva watch.

I'm creative, imaginative and impetuous. (: I'm spontaneous, fun, kind and a lil tender. I am in awe of nature, life and the world. I have a child like wonder for the world. I love to encourage others to excel and chase after their passions. I have the patience of a coked up kitten!

I'm the kind of person that will play marbles with kids on the street in Amsterdam and will go out of my way to buy art or lemonade from them.

I have volunteered with the NC Jaycees, Orange County Rape Crisis Center (in Chapel Hill, NC), Domestic Violence Center of Wilmington, Boys & Girls Home of NC and others. I want to make a positive difference in this world. Don't you?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, surf and teach as many people as I can about CouchSurfing and there have been MANY.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about CS in a Parisian hostel. I've been a surfer eva since. The green building/sustainable construction community has provided me with so many new friends, lessons, laughs, memories and couches all over Europe: I am so very greatful: Thanks everyone.

Rocky Mountain National Park is very close and I love to hike there. Tons of stuff to do around here. And WEED is leagal which is kinda cool if you're into that sort of thang!
