About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover all the treasures of traveling !
The more I travel, the more I get to know myself !

I never gave so much importance to traveling until I decided to start planning trips by myself! I am fascinated with the vast knowledge and happiness that comes from traveling. At first, my mission was just to learn English as second language, and be able to communicate in the country today I call homeland, Toronto, Canada. I feel like there's no end or limits to the amazing things one can experience through traveling. I also discover that when you are hosting a traveler, you are also experiencing at your own house what is like to be, or to have been to the place where your host comes from. So when I can't travel, I try to host as much as possible. Thank God for the friends and family that I have made through Couchsurfing! :)
ABOUT ME

I'm usually a talkative person but if I were to better describe myself, I could also be used as a good listener at times, and I've seen great things come out of the friends I've made with Couchsurfing. I can say that I’m normally a charismatic person with all of my friends.
I strongly believe in respecting others in general, and most importantly women and children, also strong believe in working hard to succeed in everything you do in life and also enjoying life to the fullest when you're celebrating something! Guys, I have to admit… I love parties! Not gonna lie, I'm always down to hang out with my hosts to make a party out of anything! And every time I'm partying, I like to have good food around! :) hehehe
Since we're talking about food, another personal description of myself is that although I have great love and respect for vegetarians, I love eating meat, specially The Brazilian Barbecue! I was raised eating the best red meat you could eat in Minas Gerais and Toronto, but, if you don't like meat we can always have vegeterian food as well, no Problem! :)
Also I have no issues in starting conversations with strangers.
I believe meals are a perfect combination to meet or get to know someone, so if you're in my city, or just found out I'm travelling around you, send me an inbox and I will not turn down a coffee or a meal, as friends, if you're looking for a good company to share your travel experiences. I love and truly enjoy making friends.
I like to keep myself busy and I’m often trying to get involved into new things. Although I'm a professional in Drywall trade - Civil Construction, I've volunteered as a youth worker in social programs in partnership with churches and youth institutions helping youth and young adults to readapt in their community and live a better and settled life, through great social programs and events. I'm all about generating friendly relationships, and expanding your network. Like I have said before, I love making new friends, exploring life, travelling, smiling, being silly, DANCING, spending time with friends, always up for a soccer or volleyball game, camping, and helping others in whatever is needed.
I am always up for anything fun and I don't need to drink, smoke or do anything to enjoy myself and the people around me. Obviously I enjoy a nice wine with cheese, don't get me wrong either! ;)

Initially, I like most listening to people as I try to relate with their lives or experiences, rather than speaking about myself.
Always try to see things positively. I'm always looking to learn something new, trying something different and meeting new people. I believe in God and Love my homie Jesus, but personally hate all the politics and war that goes over about Religion. I'm always up for a spiritual conversation as long as you respect my freedom of faith, ... Spirituality is wisdom in Love and Kindness folks... and I grew up in Brazil knowing Jesus as my Homie, but also as Lord and Savior; Blessed, if you know what I mean ;)

To be honest, I'm still learning how couchsurfing can benefit one another. I'm enjoying to get to know people in my own community and to be able to learn about their worldview and culture through the relationships I've built through CS. It's been very safe and fun since I joined. I kept friends with some CS experiences, participated in weddings of some of these friends and also events around the world where I could share a bit of the blessings I've benefited through Couchsurfing friendship.
If I can't host you for whatever reason, I would still try to hang out or show you around if I am free, so don't be shy and allow me to introduce you to my home city, TORONTO, Tdot, The 6ix! Whatever you wanna call it!
