HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS rocks my socks. I'm a recent CS enthusiast and really enjoyed this awesome network while exploring Australia and New Zealand. Now that I'm getting settled back in Alaska, I look forward to giving back to the CouchSurfing community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Years ago, I spent three months on the road, exploring National Parks and visiting friends all across the United States. Couch surfing was an integral part of this. Venturing around the country, exploring old growth forests and concrete jungles, while meeting strangers and making friends was an invigorating experience that fueled my passion for travel and the open road.

Also, a 3 month couchsurf of New Zealand and the east coast of Australia. Absolutely ahhh-mazing!

I know a little bit about a whole lot. I enjoy documentaries and read the newspaper for fun. I love all forms of art and creative expression, but am no art snob.

I know a surprising amount about China during WWII, the Ledo-Burma road and color photography of that region and era (random, I know.. it's a long story). Oh, and then there is Alaska. I know a decent amount about the great state I call home... but there is always more to learn.
