Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Dayna and I am a recent university-grad from California currently traveling around Australia! I am in the final leg of of my gap year and will be returning to San Francisco for law school in August, where I'll be studying to be a criminal defense attorney.
I have just returned to Sydney after traveling up the East Coast. I am on the work and holiday visa and would love to be able to experience more of the Sydney local life while I gather my bearings.
I am an easy-going, fun-loving person and would love to meet some more locals here in Australia. I am very clean and polite, and am always willing to help tidy up and cook! While I do love going out, I am not a huge party person and am always mindful of hosts rules. I'm open-minded and a bit on the spiritual side, and am always down to have good conversations over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new interesting people along my travels so that I can genuinely share in the local Australian experience. While the hostel life has been amazing, I have met and stayed with a number of locals along my travels which has offered an experience that simply cannot compare.
Interests
Reading, making new friends, dancing, beer/wine tasting, art, hiking and being outdoors. I also have a (not-so-slight) coffee addiction.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up listening to country, and while Shania Twain will always hold a special place in my heart, I enjoy listening to many varieties of music, from 80s jams to edm and indie rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(Or a few things...)
I went scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and swam with turtles and sharks
Faced my fear of heights and sky-dived out of an airplane
Rode horses along the beach in Mexico at sunset
Teach, Learn, Share
Currently trying to bone up on my Spanish and ASL. I am always interested in learning new languages, skills, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very friendly, and will also be able to help cook, clean, and maintain the house whilst I stay.
