About Me
I'm a silly gal who craves adventure...I offer guided tours, so you can come along!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
On a recent trip abroad my gal pal found some really awesome tour guides on this site, and I travel a bit, so this seems like a way to meet cool peeps.
Plus, I think I may be spreading my wings again soon. Aspen, perhaps?

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty eclectic in my tastes, though I'm not into 'lite' rock or boy band type music-give me some punk, metal, classic rock, dance music, blues etc...
Comedy & thrillers are my favorite movie genres.
Mystery & thrillers are my favorite books when I'm reading for pleasure. I also like learning, so I'm fairly open in the book department...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
...I used to jump out of burning buildings for a living, does that count?
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a background teaching horseback riding and kickboxing lessons (as well as second grade and newbie bartenders.)
I'm passionate about sustainability, so I love learning about all things permaculture related. Lately I've been on an aquaponics kick.
My favorite things to share are smiles & hugs. Reiki anyone? O:-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Kindness & adventures...I lead hikes, activity, and culinary adventure tours on occasion.
I'm told I'm rather comical, so laughter is on the list of what I can share.
People tend to turn to me for counsel, so if you are in need of life coaching from someone not afraid to be authentic (as in, I'll tell you what you NEED to hear vs what you WANT to hear) than I'm your gal...but that's only if you ask for it, many people are quite uncomfortable with actual honesty and prefer politeness...the two aren't always compatible. I'll be politely honest unless you tell me you want the real, raw truth. Growth is often (and usually) painful, but worth the uncomfortable moments in the long run...but again, I'd rather have lighthearted fun so we won't 'dig deep' unless you ask for guidance ;-)
