About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live, Laugh, Enjoy every day, explore every alley and play flick-football with a stranger.
ABOUT ME
You know I never really got the hang of 'about you' sections; nonetheless here goes!
Born and bred in Australia's beautiful east coast, the outdoorsy type I had the privilege of seeing most of the country through my early/mid teens performing at electronic festivals across the country and traveling often. During university I had the opportunity to get (totally) lost in Asia a few times including Japan and most of the south east. Currently traveling, on the road and looking to meet locals and interesting folk along the way.
Me: Scrappy haired, easy going, a love of retro motorbikes and laugh easily. Casual, very easy going, will talk absolute nonsense over coffee at any time and love meeting interesting and fun people from all walks of life and corners of the globe.
At home hobbies include music, motorbike restoration architecture and enjoying the most of the time we have available to us.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to laugh, to not take it too seriously and to enjoy the experiences (both good, bad and challening) along the way. Live to learn, to explore and to draw the most out of life.
I belive work is a means to an end; it is what we do outside of work that is our true 'occupation' and that whom we eventually become as people is a reflection of the experiences along the way.
Finally it is the people that are most important in life; the quirky/the funny/the whimsical and everyone in between - its the differences in us and our outlooks that make the world truly interesting.
I believe a good conversation about sweet nothings over a cup of coffee crossed with a spur-of-the-moment decision to explore the next alleyway and get utterly lost is a good start.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Our house has previously had a bunch of couchsurfers over the years. Recently I have had a siesta from travels and the like to focus on finishing uni. Now back with university finished, work quit and worldly possessions sold I am on the road and looking to meet many an interesting person along the way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I feel fortunate to have had such a varied CS experience. From regularly hosting travelers when time permits in Brisbane to attending 3-day CS organised houseparties in Moscow. We have surfed, laughed, camped and partied with couchsurfers from all over the globe in some amazing places.
Interests
Music (electronic) - I write dance music as a hobby and perform at clubs/festivals when time permits. Design and architecture is my 'professional' passion, having dedicated 5 years study to it I must have some fledgling interest! Im also a keen firetwirler (poi), above intermediate skill and always learning more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sci-Fi books. Electronic dance music. Good rock bands. Quirky and avante-garde films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Shared moments with monks atop the sunrise temples of Ankor Wat. Performed/DJ in Tokyo/Nagoya nightclubs. Negotiated the chaos of Hanoi. Climbed the cliffs of Thailand and Laos. Drunkenly-tubed the rivers of Vang-Vieng. Rode motorbikes from the North to the South of Vietnam (now THAT was a trip!). Partied with the best in Hongdae, Korea. Spent 2weeks (WEEKS) on trains via the Transiberian.
+ many more :)
