ABOUT ME

Oh weihe. I am a laid back person who has diverse interests and is up for anything!
Languages have always fascinated me, and I wish I could speak them all. Alas, I cannot. However, everything starts with a single step and that has been German- hence why I am currently in Germany.
I have a tendency to try and do something completely unlike myself to test my boundaries. For example, I played Roller Derby for two years, and had a blast!
I can be pretty shy at first, but no worries, i eventually open up. I am pretty comfortable in almost every situation-large groups of people where I know no one, or just simple one-on-one conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life? Cause it's the only one I have! I want to be able to experience as much as I can so that in the end, I can look back and say, "That was awesome!! Again! Again!"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It would be hard to accommodate people at this time, because I am living with a host family, but if I do move out, I would love to be able to show someone around or just be able to give a roof over someones head.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:anything but country. I used to be a heavy metal rocker, but have mellowed out since then. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy heavy metal; but rock and alternative have found places in my heart as well.
Books:I've only read german books the last 5 years....And they have been Goethe or Schiller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled half way around the world by myself when I was 17. I visited historical places and got to develop a different perspective of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a foreign language teaching assistant now, so that's all I've been trying to do the last three months-teach, learn, and share. I love learning about different cultures, because it allows me to understand my own better.
