About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To not be the typical American... more culture and world awareness.

ABOUT ME

Well I am fairly new to traveling. I have only really started traveling over the past 2 years. I am finding that the US has sort of a bad reputation (well at least Bush has a bad reputation). Stereotypes exist everywhere but they are also dis proven everywhere. I love CA but enjoy the rest of the world as well. Its nice to meet people from different cultures because you learn so much about how priorities change from person to person and region to region. I think if I meet enough people from different areas of the globe then I will be able to create the lifestyle that will be healthy for myself and also my community.

PHILOSOPHY

Have FUN!, Be kind to people (even though you may not know them, you may change someones life), Be appreciative, Work hard, Never stop learning, Stay fit and in good health, Be open to "good" experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I will be using this site to surf some couches, as I am currently traveling in Europe. I hope to meet nice people who I can become life long friends with.

I return home to Sacramento in August 2007 so if you would like a place to stay then send me and email!

When I return to CA I hope to have many guests from all over the globe. Also I hope that I will be able to stay with people in all the places that I would like to visit. This is such a GREAT idea! I am sorry that I just found out about this site. But its never too late!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well my first experience was over a weekend at the beginning of July. My friend in San Sebastian opened his home to 2 Lithuanian girls that were traveling a lot. They turned out to be very nice and respectful. During the day they did their own thing and we did ours. Then later we all got together and went out and had a great time because my friend knew of all the great spots to hang out. Next Jen and I hosted a wonderful Belgian couple from Sweden. They were a great first host experience. They definitely set the bar high for guests in terms of respect, kindness and courteousness.
