ABOUT ME

I'm a Brit living in New York City and have done for some time, not my original plan!

I work as a professional photographer, shooting people and cars. I tend to travel a lot, mostly around the States for work.

I tend to travel a lot and at any notice, so i rarely know my schedule. So its hard for me to commit to hosting until a week or so before someones planned visit.

Seems like I'm mostly hosting, if I travel its normally for work and don't need to surf.

Also to let you know, I very rarely let people surf with me if they haven't hosted before and if they have no references. Which I think is true of a lot of hosts. I suggest hosting someone before you try to surf or at least try and get a few people to vouch for you. Remember you asking as a stranger to stay in someones home.

So, please bare this mind if you are thinking of contacting me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its been ok and most of the people I have hosted have been very nice and respectful. Though not all my experience have been great, please respect that I live and sometimes work out of my apartment and that I feel somewhat responsible for you when I host you (I had someone dump their bags at my place and then didn't come back for 2 days and I had no idea where they were).

I've only been hosted twice and had great hosts.

Riding bikes, running and trying new things, surfing, did some fencing classes earlier this year.

I also still love what i do for a living.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Camping down in the Grand Canyon is one of the most awesome things I've done since living in the States. I've hiked down three times now.

I flew a helicopter this year, only for about 20mins but it was amazing to be in control of it.
