HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not very involved at the moment, hopefully back to it in a few months :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
2013: I had my first CS experience in Istanbul, Turkey. I stayed with one of my friends during 2 nights at a Turkish guy's and it definitively made me want to CS again !!
2014: I had quite a few really cool surfing experiences in Denmark, Slovenia, Italy and Germany.
It's been quite inspiring so far :)
Interests
Litterature_ I really read a lot and love it. Of course, French litterature (not everything but a lot from Zola to Houellebecq) but also foreign litterature. Since my travel in Central Africa, I read a lot of French African books looking forward to going there again !! I've just read some south-american books (Garcia Marquez) and definitely should read more of those.
And also philosophy, sociology, books about environment, nutrition...
Sciences & engineering_ Chemical process engineering, energy, biochemistry which are my fields of study.
Music_ Even if I am not a specialist, I like music for fun. I used to go to many music festivals and now, I am playing saxophon in my school's brassband (I am not very good at it but it is so much fun playing together in the street dressed in pink !!). I like music that makes me smile and feel like dancing (swing, funk, rockabily, some electro as well) and old rock'n'roll because it reminds me my teenage years when I was listening to all my father's dusty cd collection.
Art and crafts_ I am found of DIY of any kind, I wish I had more time to spend in it ! I like to get my hands dirty from time to time.
Cooking_ I enjoy cooking (vegetarian) very much
Of course TRAVELLING !
And also Walking and getting lost, Swimming, Riding my bicyle, Spending good time with friends around a tea (or a few beers), Laughing about the most silly things, Writing letters and sending them in home-made envelopes, Eating vegetables, Going to the cinema to see an old Italian film or the last Tarantino, Dancing (one day, I would like to learn lindy hop which really is the coolest dance ever, one day...) and not since long Practicing yoga...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being French champion of canoe polo when I was 15 ahah. There were only 5 teams in the competition as this sport is not very known and practiced by girls but still ;)
Being unexpectedly invited to come and present one of my projects in Cameroon and preparing my travel almost from one day to the next. Spending one week in Cameroon have been one of the most amazing things I was offered to experience and I still need to find words to discribe it in less than many hours...
Preserving friendship from my earliest childhood is kind of a miracle and I can't help being astonished when I see how strong can be links whatever the distance and the time you spent not seeing each other.
Living 6 months in Denmark was such a simple and peaceful experience which changed my life in a way. I was not expecting anything going there but found a lot. It's sometimes good to stay by yourself and just enjoy every simple day.
