Hello dear fellow humans! My name is David and I live in Bethlehem, Palestine just down the stairs from the Church of Nativity, where Jesus was born.

I joined Couchsurfing many years ago but I just NOW started using it because I always host many people from around the world without the website! I have hosted dozens of people and I love to travel this way too.

I have lived in Israel and Palestine for the past eight years. I work in a humanitarian philanthropy, funding many worthwhile non-profit organizations in the Middle East. I enjoy exploring this region, its languages, foods, history and many interesting cultures.

I love meeting people from all over the world who come to visit Bethlehem. And I have a large, old house with plenty of space, nice views, a warm kitchen where we make a lot of food, and wonderful local friends for travelers to meet!

I am very passionate about the Middle East. I am happy to share with you my favorite hiking trails, ruins, nightlife spots, restaurants, local friends, the secret corners of the region. I love to explore the many layers of this land and I've been able to build a good network in both Israeli and Palestinian societies including many cultural niches and socio-economic levels.
