About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Revolutionary biological discovery!

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, adventure-seeking scholar who always seeks to find the deepest meaning for the most valuable enjoyment. I want to observe, learn, and memorize the most minute factual details while still exploring the vast intangible magnitude of the imagination. To this end, I plunge myself into connecting with individuals and communities that allow me to engage in generating progress, ingenuity and positivity.

PHILOSOPHY

Love life living. I want to find the maximum enjoyment for myself and the people around me in everything I engage in. I believe in the deep, inherent connectivity between all of us that ensures that good will and positivity can be found between almost any two strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfer and host. Happy to meet good people my home or at theirs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Greece, it was so awesome I decided to start hosting!

Interests

I am an explorer by nurture and a bioengineer by training. I have devoted my education and career to gaining extensive knowledge about biological systems and how to apply amazing molecular machinery to biotechnology device development.

In my free time I seek satisfaction through appreciation of awe-inspiring natural beauty, or by welcoming mind-expanding conversation with close friends and new acquaintances. Live music, art, poetry and all things creative create balance with my science-life and bring me joy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dance music! Funk, electronic, groove, jam, jazz, bluegrass - no matter! I love to dance and shake it till my legs don't work well.

I am an avid anime otaku... One Piece has changed my life and continues to inspire me with the most incredible and touching story I have ever experienced.

A Song of Ice and Fire! I'll be reading this during my travels... almost finished!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Plitvice Lakes in Croatia... so much and more to say... by far the most pristine, magical natural beauty I have ever experienced. Spent three days admiring the turquoise blue-green wonder hue of the cascading lakes and traversing the planked walkways over waterfalls and marshes. Ah! <3

The view from the top of Yosemite Falls after the unrelenting switchbacks up from the valley. The scenery from 2,600 feet was so clear and pristine last May, it left me speechless and smiling all the way back to the floor below at sunset.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people how to slackline, trickline, and improve their skills! I am always looking for an opportunity to set up a line and have a great session of learning and practicing.

More on the academic side... I know a lot about science! But there is always more to know! I am extremely passionate about creative ideas and innovation in science and biotechnology, so let's talk about it! I want to trade knowledge for skills and perspective, we all have those things so let's share and teach each other.
