hello world, i am an adventurous guy. i'm earthy, worldly, vegetarian, gay, professional, i love to travel and see the sights but also see the people and learn about them. i'm not religious, but i am a spiritual person. the closest religion i would identify with is buddhism. i do like to meditate and be calm, so i guess that's a good match.

i usually read books about food, health, or travel. and anything by or about Carl Sagan. he's my hero. (nerd alert!) i love books on astronomy, but more accurately cosmology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have traveled to all 50 U.S. states (and about 35 other countries too). visiting all the states was lots of fun, but lots of work. i saw wonderful parts of the country, i also saw some scary parts that i never want to visit again. but when i was a kid learning about geography in class, i thought it would be cool to visit all 50 states. so after many weekends driving rental cars, i reached my childhood goal.
