ABOUT ME

I am a 20.9 (turning 21 in a month), 4th year B.B.A (Bachelors of Business Administration) student specializing in marketing and economics. I was born in Sharjah, U.A.E (a small emirate close to Dubai) and lived in Dubai for less than 3 years (please do not ask me about as I have no recollection of my experience there) until I came to Toronto, Ontario (Scarborough to be exact) when I was 3, where I was raised. My ethnicity is Indian as both my parents were born and raised there, but I never lived there and unfortunately have only been to my home land once 13 years ago. Right now, I am in Milan, Italy and just finished my exchange term here. Going on exchange for me was completely optional but I chose to do it as one of my major goals in life is to travel around the world, learning about as many different cultures as possible. That is why the rest of my summer will be spent traveling (Spain, Italy, Switzerland, India, and Dubai). I will be back in Toronto in September, when I will be able to host. Okay I think I said too much; I will leave some information for when I meet you so I don't seem too boring. haha.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never had any yet but am looking forward to my first one. However, I did meet an avid couch surfer in Athens on top of the Acropolis, who really sold the concept to me.

Interests

I absolutely love all kinds of sports (can not live without them), especially basketball, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, squash, badminton, tennis, table tennis, and any other sport you could name, I will play.
I also like all kinds of music, especially R&B, rap, hip hop,rock (but not hard rock), and obviously the old school classics.
I respect art and enjoy spending some time marveling at all the intricacies of a piece of art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not watch that many movies now days but my current favorites are Iron Man and Awake. I also tend to enjoy any movie with Jessica Alba. ahaha.
As mentioned above, I respect all kinds of music from oldies to current hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have stood on the "top of europe" on the Jungfraujoch, which is the highest rail way station in Europe in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a thirst for knowledge that will never be quenched, which is why I want to learn about as many different cultures as possible. In return, I can share information about Canada (where I grew up), India (my ethnic background, which unfortunately I do not know that much about), as well as my experiences on exchange, where I interacted with people from various countries.
