I've just finished two years of Peace Corps volunteer service in West Africa and am traveling on my way home to the States.

I'm a newbie to couchsurfing. I've heard wonderful things about it from multiple friends and would like to give it a try. I'm constantly on the move right now but I'd love to be more involved with the community once I'm settled somewhere.

Music: I generally prefer acoustic music but listen to anything and everything.

Book: My two favorite genres are dystopia and magical realism. Murakami, Rand, Irving, etc. I also love travel stories and essays. I read Fodor's for fun and food magazines to treat my eyes.
