Backpacking together through Latin America on a limited budget for a once in a lifetime trip!

ABOUT ME

Katie is a recent graduate of the university of Delaware and a first time traveler. She is interested in sustainable community development and hopes her time traveling through Latin America helps to inspire her.

Danny is a fifth time visitor to South America. Due to his education in anthropology and biology, he is especially interested in indigenous use of medicinal plants. Also a recent graduate, this year is more about traveling and enjoying a one of a kind trip.

We have been together for a little over a year and we both love food, music, movies, other types of art and meeting new people!

We like to give back. We both have nonprofit experience and have hopes of working on some community inspired projects while traveling this year.

Interests

It could literally be anything. We are interested in any new knowledge that can be offered to us. We love all forms of art--music, film, culinary, etc.-- and hope to learn more about these in each of the countries we visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like most music, books we have different tastes in--katie likes DIY books and photography, Danny likes mostly non-fiction books but will occasionally get into a fiction one as well. Wes Anderson movies are our favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The only amazing thing we have seen together as a couple is key west, although we've both seen our own respective great things. That list will grow this year :)
