About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Save the world!
ABOUT ME
I'm an ex-student and ex-teacher and current world traveler and chronicler of tales both real and imagined.
I am a lush for information and will listen to any story.
I walk in the rain because it feels good and go to beaches when it's cold. I don't mind cold coffee and warm beer and I drive in the middle lane of the highway for as long as possible.
I do crossword puzzles and score baseball games in ink. Mistakes are half the fun and tell their own story.
But, this section is titled "All about you" and that's really what I'm interested in -- everyone else stuck on this big rock.
PHILOSOPHY
Love everyone

Music --
Rock, Classic Rock, Punk, Ska, Ska-punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, metal, death metal, electronic, hip-hop, jazz, indie, prog. rock, experimental ... I listen to almost all music that isn`t post-Cash American country, opera, and the j/k-pop you hear in malls in Asia.
Movies --
I only walked out of one movie in my entire life. That was Inspector Gadget
Books -- one from each of my favorite authors --
Steinbeck, East of Eden; Kerouac, Desolation Angels; Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov; Dazai, The Setting Sun; Fitzgerald, Babylon Revisited (Short Story); Robert Jordan, Wheel of Time; Tim O`Brien, The Things They Carried; Dance, Dance, Dance, Murakami; Confessions of a Mask, Mishima.
Isolated books: Last of the Mohicans, The Fountainhead, Ender`s Game, The Monkey Wrench Gang, The Diamond Sutra ... I`d have to check the boxes of books currently in storage.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All these moments will be lost in time like tears in rain."
