About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Rediscovering CouchSurfing

ABOUT ME

I think I am easygoing, curious and always willing to meet new people. Big fan of cinema, and also keen on music and reading.

I have been part of the CS community since 2010, but it has not been until recently that I have decided to participate again after a while, as I came back to my hometown after a long stay in the UK. I have been teaching for a good number of years, and I am now based in a local secondary school. However, I was involved in different trades before teaching, such as cinema and television, which was my initial specialism, logistics and admin in interntional environments.

The more I see, the more I think I still have a lot to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet people. San Sebastián, my hometown, can sometimes be quite limited to meet people who are not likeminded, and the CS community has always been an excuse to gather with very interesting crowds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was very involved in the local group ten years ago (sounds like an eternity!), organising daytrips and meetups with locals and visitors. Always a great experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My father singing a song in Basque, when he does not really speak the language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to socialize in English, as I do not have so many opportunities in Spain to keep it up. I will be happy to show you around, listen and chat.
