About Me

I am very talkative, curious and perfectionist. I'm told that I'm a funny guy.

I tend to be passionate in both my opinions and beliefs but I recognize when I am wrong and give credit to whoever has shown me how wrong I was.

I spend my free time watching series/movies, reading books and gaming on my PC. I also play (quite badly) football once/twice a week... and I might even go to the gym a bit. I'm, nonetheless, lacking fitness.

When I travel I usually spend the whole day sight-seeing with occasional stops for ice-cream (I'm a fan) or coffee. If possible, I look for CS events to chat and meet new people. So far, all but one went fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to CS meetings in Madrid and Berlin. I love meeting CSurfers... we are all so "crazy" in our own ways.

I have surfed in Belgium (twice) and Italy. All of them, very positive experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When it comes to CS experiences, I haven't had many as I usually book hostels ONLY because I am afraid of ending sleeping in the street. Though, that never happened :D

However, I enjoy a lot more being hosted, share meals, stories and hear about the city from people that lives it. Not just the touristic point of view. I'd rather share moments with CSs than stays at hostels (it is not for saving the money; it is for sharing memories instead).

I've couch-surfed at one's Bolzano CS group admin and she was wonderful. While I stayed at her place (2 days) I also met a wonderful american girl named Ashley that was also couch-surfing.

And during my euro-trip between July and August 2010, I have couched surfed 3 times: 1 in Brugge, 1 in Antwerp (both in Belgium) and 1 in Monza (Italy). All were wonderful experiences.

I love being in touch with people, getting to know a bit of their lives, places, etc.

I enjoy traveling to a place knowing that a total stranger will be waiting you with a smile ready to take you for a walk, coffee or drink to a place that they regard nice. I love enjoying those small moments.
