Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is great. I've hosted, I've surfed, and literally every experience so far has been good; and some experiences have been great.

As a host, I love helping tired travelers feel warm and welcome and content. I take pride in where I live, and I enjoy helping others see my town.

As a guest, taking advice on where to go, what to eat, and who to meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hosted some french guys who were traveling through Marlinton WV (aka middle of freaking nowhere). I made them crepes, and took them to a bluegrass party, where all the guys had crazy beards, and the girls wore long dresses, and everyone drank moonshine. They had a great time.
