ABOUT ME

i'm a community bicycle mechanic and whimsical traveler. i'm a bit of a dandy who i likes to get dirty. i choose to be sober for personal and political reasons but also because it feels amazing. i like making google maps of bicycle trips and sharing them with my friends. i have a really bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out). i'm becoming more and more dorked out on learning animal and plant facts and going to museums. i am really good at finding the highest point in any city. i like making my own stuff (jams, kites, curtains, a gimbal for a drink holder on a bicycle...). I spend a fair amount of time over-planning my next bicycle tour, and waiting patiently for fig season. i'm pretty excellent at goofing off. i stop and smell flowers. humility is important to me- i challenge myself to be the best person i can be. my dreams are vivid and often answer my questions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've done a lot of couch surfing not through CS, but i hope to utilize this site more- the further away and bigger my adventures get. i haven't lived anywhere where i could fit guests, but last year i moved. now we have 8 couches at our house (more couches than people who live here!) so i hope to help a few or many out.
