About Me

MISSION RIGHT NOW

I'm hoping to be able to travel most of Europe (40 cities approximately) meeting new and exciting people with whom I could share my experiences and become friends for the long run.
I also want to film most of my life changing trip in a 'Chris Marker-way' with help of a 'Herzogian' eye to manage unprecedented and uncontrollable situations, and with that experience this trip in a more profound a meaningful way for a (I hope) future filmmaker.

ABOUT ME

I just finished my studies of Cinema in Mexico City and after 4 years I can say that I love it and want to dedicate my life to this even if that means to die for it. Mostly I work in the post-production department when it comes to a movie or the short films we've made throughout college, although I have written and directed some.

I have never travelled alone, actually I had never left México until now and I want to go all the way visiting most of Europe within 5-6 months.

I like to write poetry http://obrego-on.tumblr.com, film reviews http://cinevitable.tumblr.com, movie scripts and investigation essays.

Music, Movies, and Books

Impossible to think of favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I had lost hope in cinema as an art form but when we went out to film a friend's thesis short film I didn't only find cinema again but we –the whole crew– found something else, something divine in the making of this film; we found what we called 'The God of Cinema'; and in retrospective we all knew it already, we had seen it in the films we saw all along college, it's what our teachers preached about, the uncontrollable sentiment of being within film.

Teach, Learn, Share

The most valuable things I have learned in my life were taught by people I have met, friends, past relationships, my parents, my brothers; all these lessons were not given to me as a class but as an experience which they didn't even realize they were giving.

This is what people do to us, for good or for worse we grow within them and within ourselves, we owe each other that much.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can assure a clean and healthy environment, good conversation, sharing experience and a friend in México.
