I am a friendly, relaxed, considerate, kind hearted individual. I embrace both the quite natured intellectual and the active adventurous child within. I like to joke and share stories. I'm terrible at making up my mind though (shopping is an especially slow activity). That does means that I am very flexible and accomodating, and value the suggestions of others.

I'm excited to hear about peoples adventures and embark on adventures of my own. I like to be reminded to appreciate all the wonderful aspects of life and to share those with others as best I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people, enrich the experience of fellow travellers, and seek assistance when I am in need.

I was introduced to the couch surfing community here in Perth and started attending events and listening to the stories of some of the wonderfully friendly people. I was impressed by the energy, excitement and mutual respect within the group. I joined up so that I can participate in any way.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: Enjoy movies with interesting characters, relationships or subject matter. Usually indie, art house style films captivate me. I also watch hollywood movies for entertainment too. Favourite movies include: The Matrix, Inglorious Bastards, The Hurt Locker, Casino Royale, Amelie, Pans Labyrinth, Into the Wild, Drive, Grand Budapest Hotel

MUSIC: Listen to triple J here in Oz. Mainly indie/alternative music, gravitating towards less heavy and more electronic or acoustic music these days. Favourite artists include: Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Muse, Powderfinger, Mars Volta, Pendulum, Alt J, Whitest Boy Alive, Safia, Chet Faker

BOOKS: Not a big book worm. Just listened to 1984 audiobook. Holding the Man is a fav.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up to and then camped in a cave above the clouds.
Finished Tough Mudder and then finished it again the next day (twice in two days!!)
Listening to stories of hardship from my Grand Parents.
