ABOUT ME

At 36 I've swam many waters. First as an environmentalist and now as a documentarymaker. I'm a calm and caring person and passionate about the things I do and say. I haven't travelled too far on our globe for now, because I like to take the time to discover the places I go to and meet a lot of people there. Traveling for me is not going from A to B as quickly as possible, but to enjoy being on the road without knowing what surprises lie ahead. Although I live in a big city (Brussels) I can't hide my love for nature. I like doing big walks and cycling tours in the countryside and wilderness. I guess I'm a bon vivant enjoying the simple things in life. A nice view, a good conversation, passionate people, a little bit of sunshine, good food, the smell of good memories and dreams of future adventures...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to focus on the positive things in life and in people. There’s always some surprising things to find there. At least there’s hope for something better. It’s nice to be inspired and in the end that’s maybe where all of us look for. And in doing so, I guess you start spreading the same thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’m fairly new to this, at least through this website. But on the many trips I did, I’ve been invited so often to stay over and spend the night as a complete stranger in peoples homes. That left a big impression on me. So much I started doing the same thing at my place. Now that I discovered this website, it will be much easier to find each other ;-)
