By the end of my life, whenever that may arrive, I want to be sattisfied with the life that I have lived

ABOUT ME

I am the eldest of 3 girls. I am the most introvert of the 3, and even though we are all different I would change anything from my sisters. I was born in Colombia, Bogota. By the age of 8 I moved to Barranquilla, where I finished up growing up. Then, when I was 17 we moved to the States, to sunny Florida, and finally, when I was 19, I moved to Canada. In Canada we first arrive to Sherbrooke, were I studied in my university, but my dad soon got a Job where I am currently living. For this year I will be living with my parents. I have a boyfriend who lives a bit far, but we visit each other every weekend. I love travelling, discovering new cultures, the originis of my own culture and subcultures, seeing different architectures and beautiful landscape that this world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to love God with all my being and to love others as my self, which means to respect and enjoy their different points of view, to give them the opportunity to hear mine, to underestand others, and to help in any possible practical way. One day, I want to look back on my life and say that I lived my life, that it has not been a waste, and that I did the best I could with what was given to me

Music, Movies, and Books

The Three Musketeers (and the sequel), Lord Of the Rings (and all that relates to it), 100 years of solitude, movies that make me think, songs that go with my mood. I particularly enjoy a group called Switchfoot and Mutemath, and of course, Michael Buble.

Teach, Learn, Share

Psychology is more than sitting in a couch and telling another person your dreams, while this person tries to decipher your inner most desires. It is the quest for the greatest questions ever asked, what am I, why do I think as I do, what are my errors, my strengths and my weakensses, and what makes me who I am. Even though you will never find the answer to these questions in psychology itself, you might find a path that will lead you to the answer.
