ABOUT ME

I was born in Quebec, so I am french Canadian. French is my first language but I have been living in the Western provinces since 1978...so I also speak English pretty good. I have lived in Quebec, Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta. I know those provinces pretty good.

I have 2 children one lives in Vancouver and the other in Edmonton....33 and 30...

I have just come back from a trip to Europe.... Now I am getting back to some kind of reality and I would love to have people coming to visit from all different countries...and exchange experiences, thoughts and laughs. I love my country but also like to see others and meet the people and find out about their lives and languages and culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an adventure...you never know what's around the corner...So just go and live your life...dont let it pass by in front of your eyes. Live your life like there is no tomorrow....and remenber this:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to be able to give to people...just like I was given when I was traveling....It was such a great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I was in Lisbon for the big Couch Surfing convention at the end of November 2008. And what an experience!!!We stayed with one of the organizer, Rui and met the most incredible bunch of people, friendly, always ready to help, fun to be with....I cannot say how good everyone was to us....So after the convention was over we had made so many new friends and still now...I think of them like a family.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well , it is this: I am 58 years old... in 2008, I sold my house, gave my furniture away to my children and friends and went travelling to Europe. I was in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Morocco. What an adventure ! I was away for 7 months and now I am back working and saving to go again.I have also traveled to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. I have seen the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas. Lived in Vancouver B.C for 6 years. Seen the Red Woods in California....and San Francisco. The Red Rocks of Sedona...near Grand Canyon. And of course Beautiful Quebec where I am from....originally. In April 2012 I went on a river cruise on the Danube...started in Vienna, then Hungary and Croatia,Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and the last 3 days were spent in Beautiful Istambul. In 2015 went on another river cruise on the Rhine...from Amsterdam to Budapest.....and this winter I will be going to Vietnam and Cambodia...( 2017).....hard to stop traveling....
