Hello!
My name is Andrea. I grew up in a small coastal town in Croatia, studied psychology in Rijeka, and after a couple of years of trying to become and independent adult in Croatia, I decided to try my luck in Sweden. I am now working as a PhD Student in disability research. Occasionally I might come up with a sensical narrative about how and why I got where I am now, but the truth is I had no idea what I was doing most of the time. Luckily my boyfriend decided to follow me here, and we now live together in Gothenburg. So far so good :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I couchsurfed in UK, Germany, Slovenia and Sweden. I also met and/or hosted some wonderful people who visited Porec, Rijeka, Zagreb and Gothneburg.

Interests

I love spending time outdoors, in the mountains and forests, and near the water. I enjoy swimming, trail running and yoga. I am also interested in culture and love going to concerts and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whale watching from the coast of the Royal National park in NSW, Asutralia which happened during a 27 km hike on a short winter day. What a perfect day that was!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning Swedish for a while now and I will take any opportunity to practice it. I love yoga and would like to try out acro yoga as well. I can teach you some Croatian (language or recipes). And I can make you pancakes, I make good pancakes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook together, preferably vegetarian food. I cal tell you about Croatia and Sweden and maybe host you one day :)
